4. Conclusion

The usual cause of accidents is because of the driver being:
  • Ignorant - Most of the drivers involved in accidents broke traffic rules due to ignorance, which would have been a significant cause of the traffic accident.
  • Not alert - A huge percentage of traffic accidents happen at road junctions and highways at night. It's harder to notice incoming vehicles at a junction, huge traffic with fast vehicles at highways and the dark roads at night. This can also be considered inexperience as the drivers who are not alert are usually not used to driving and will not be as cautious. The vehicles are usually hit by the front side of the car. This also shows how drivers are not alert as the front is where the driver's vision should stay at while driving.

These are the main reasons traffic accidents happen at road junctions or highways, where both locations have traffic accidents happening extremely frequently.
